Staff are solid with the exception of Tatyana at the front desk who was EXCELLENT! Always cheerful and helpful. I had a problem with a cancelled booking (by Booking.com) without my knowledge. Others I asked for help from were polite but Tatyana went the extra mile with support on storing bags, thoughtful ideas of how to rebook at the lowest price even when the hotel appeared to be booked out. She was always smiling and super helpful. A star employee. Please promote that woman! The gentlemen offering bellman services were also helpful.

With Central Park and Times Square on your doorstep, Shoreham Hotel is a great, affordable place to stay for a city break to the Big Apple. Took less than an hour to get from JFK to the hotel by train / metro so no need to bother with taxis. Room was spacious and clean, bed was comfortable, and there was a big desk if needed. The hotel provided everything we needed for showers, accompanied with strong water pressure and no temperature issues. Air con was effective during a heat wave and made for a pleasant stay.

It wasn't a great location. Cute and convenient. He needs to be updated but overall baby nice and comfortable. Girl at front desk was very nice. Helpful! Will definitely stay there again. Would definitely recommend this to other people walking distance to many bars and convenience stores to get anything that you might have forgotten. Had a great time

Central location, staff helping (wouldn't do harm if they smiled also...), bed comfortable. The room is spacious, and it consists of a bedroom and a living room, although the living room is more of an antré with a sofa and a TV set.

This place is very well positioned for a good value stay in Manhattan, not far from Central Park, Carnegie Hall etc. Got something of a room upgrade as I was with a child.
